Research & clinical studies
Building the evidence for longevity in autoimmunity.
We are growing an open library on inflammation and healthy aging, and developing studies that test whether a 360° approach can detect decline earlier and slow it.
Our research question
Can inflammatory load predict physiologic decline before symptoms do?
We correlate inflammatory biomarkers with heart rate variability, VO2 max, recovery and body composition, then use paired retesting to time interventions and check whether they worked.

Daily vitamin D and new autoimmune disease
Older adults who took vitamin D daily for about five years had roughly 22% fewer confirmed new autoimmune diagnoses than those on placebo.

Stress-related disorders and later autoimmune disease
People diagnosed with a stress-related disorder had about a 36% higher risk of developing an autoimmune disease than their unaffected siblings.

Weight loss and minimal disease activity in psoriatic arthritis
In people with obesity and psoriatic arthritis, the share reaching minimal disease activity rose from 29% to 54% after significant weight loss.

Autoimmune disease in women versus men
In a population study of 22 million people, autoimmune disease affected about 13% of women and 7% of men, roughly one in ten people overall.
